St Andrews is the Home of Golf, the location of the world’s most famous golf course and the site of the Royal & Ancient – the governing body of golf.  A public course, St Andrew’s Old Course can be played by anyone who cares to enter the ballot operated by the R&A.  Aside from golf, the city has an ancient history, a stunning situation and coastline and the world-famous university where Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge first met.
